This summer’s travels took us right across the African continent and we’ve some superb snaps from our adventures with guests.

We believe in safaris that have a greater purpose and a positive impact on local communities, environments and wildlife. As such, a portion of our revenue goes directly to supporting handpicked community and conservation projects, such as Local Ocean Conservation in Watamu, Kenya.

When one of our returning families came to us with a request for a true off-grid adventure - no internet, action-packed days and memories their teenage boys would treasure forever - we knew Ethiopia was the right choice.

Tsavo is an unbelievably special corner of Kenya. It is one of the world’s largest - but least populated - wildlife sanctuaries, particularly well known for its vast herds of elephants, and one of our favourite spots for those guests that really like to travel with purpose.

Eating is a serious business at Africa Born HQ. We’re all keen foodies and - on any given trip - we immediately head off to check out the local cuisine.
